FAQs

Is this an All-Star Team?
Technically, no. We are a Performance Rec team with a lower cost than that of an All-Star program. However, it functions similarly in that it is specifically created for competing. We call it "all-star lite". Our athletes get the same type of experience but with less traveling and MUCH less financial commitment.

Do I need experience to join?
No! We train from the ground up. Athletes just need a good work ethic and a positive attitude. It's not easy, but we work hard to make it look that way!

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We have a few options to choose from. There are also fundraising opportunities to assist with the financial commitment.

How can I sign up?
Evaluations will be held in summer. All athletes will then be placed on a team. If you are interested in joining after our evaluation period, please contact us for a private evaluation if our teams are not full.

Where are the competitions? Are they free?
Competitions are held locally in Southern California, with the exception of end of season competitions which can be held in locations such as Arizona, Nevada, and/or Florida.
Athlete's participation is covered at all competitions (with the exception of some end of season competitions). However, parents are responsible for their own travel expenses and spectator fees. If a competition is held at a theme park, there is a cost for park entry as well as the competition entry.

Where and when do you practice?
Our season begins in July and runs through March/April.
Practices are 2-3 times per week (depending on team). All weekday practices are held locally, in the evenings (no earlier than 6:00 PM), at Santa Monica High School.
